Healing Center
The Temple is Expanding
Vision
The Shirdi Sai Temple is not just a temple simply for prayer, rather a spiritual hub designed to uplift all who participate as a foundation for a deeper purpose to life. At its center is dharma; duty and action to assist people to receive the divine energies in their lives.
At its core are the principle teachings of Shirdi Sai Baba, this century’s incarnation of Datta Treya; a trinity of creation. Baba like many great saints from the east, taught his disciples, that fundamental principle that “God exists within us all as a flame of light”.
Our temple seeks to establish a permanent Shirdi Sai Temple and Vedic Cultural Retreat Center in Southern California—as a sacred campus built according to Vedic Vastu Shastra, dedicated to spiritual practice, healing, education, and community service.
This center will serve as a spiritual retreat center for inner transformation through the ancient teachings of the saints and spiritual discipline of sadhana. It will evolve to become a cultural anchor preserving Sanatana Dharma for future generations.

Background and Growth
Since its founding in 2013, the Shirdi Sai Temple in Tarzana has grown steadily in both attendance and spiritual scope. The temple currently houses multiple fully enlivened vigrahas which include
Shirdi Sai Baba (6 ft)
Hanuman (6 ft black granite)
Mahishasura Mardini (5 ft black granite)
Ganesha, Dakshina Moorti, Durga, Navagrahas
Multiple Shiva Lingams (inside and outside)
Regular pujas, festivals, homams, and community programs have led to consistent growth. The existing facility has reached its physical limits and needs expansion in order to support the growing devotee base.
The Next Phase: Land Acquisition and Development
The Temple is actively evaluating several properties in and around the Tarzana, Agoura hills and Moorpark areas. The areas have larger acreage and nature settings for its natural serenity, accessibility, and suitability for a retreat-style spiritual campus.
The proposed master-planned campus includes:
Main Shirdi Sai Temple & Cultural Center
Meditation, yoga, and spiritual education halls
Ayurvedic wellness and healing spaces
Dining hall, kitchen, and community facilities
Short-term retreat accommodations for visitors
Open-air pavilions, water features, and landscaped sacred spaces.
Organic vegetable growing gardens, greenhouses and ayurvedic plant growing beds.
Parking and electrical infrastructure will be designed in order to harmonize with the nature.
All structures will be designed in accordance with Vedic Vastu Shastra principles, ensuring
energetic alignment, sanctity, and long-term sustainability.
The immediate objective is to secure funding for the land down payment, enabling acquisition of the property and progression into permitting, design, and phased construction.
To achieve this, the Temple is forming a Founding Donor Circle—a select group of benefactors whose early support will make this vision possible.
